Ready to review your policies and practices

Your employees should live and breathe your culture by actioning your policies and practices. If they're not, it may mean your policies and practices need a review.

Regular reviews of your policies and practices will help you stay up to date with regulations and legislation. Use the ACAS Model Workplace tool to assess how well your policies and practices are working. They'll give helpful advice and resources if you need to make changes.

Are your policies and practices accessible?

Having them written down in an easy to find location is crucial. This'll help employees understand and follow them.

It's a good idea to formulate these into an employee handbook. Then you can go through this with new employees during their induction.
